About Us

    Pastor Adrian Lahey

Adrian was saved as an adult during a personal crisis when he turned to God in prayer and "God showed up". He gave his life to Christ and was born again, a defining moment that immediately transformed his life.

Professionally, he worked at Queen's University in Kingston in Human Resources, specifically in Employee & Labour Relations, and at Wilfrid Laurier University within the VP Academic, Faculty Relations Unit. He felt a prompting for several years to start pastoral theological studies at seminary, so he left secular work and graduated with a Masters of Theological Studies at Heritage College & Seminary.

He previously served as a Pastor at a church just east of Guelph and has done pulpit supply in both "non" and denominational churches from the Ottawa Valley to Waterloo Region.

With a background in employment policies and procedures and unionized collective agreements, Adrian made a Spirit led decision to work with God's "collective agreement" - the Bible. He has a heart for those who do not know Christ and for making disciples. He believes, as we do at Christian Fellowship Church, that the Scriptures (both Old and New Testaments) are the inspired and infallible Word of God, and the supreme and final authority in faith and life. Adrian loves to faithfully teach God's word.

When he is not reading his theology books or talking to neighbours and to friends, you can find him tending his garden.

He is married  Jo-Anne and they enjoy ministering together.
